1. Aranmula : The picturesque Hindu pilgrim center is located on the banks of
the river Pamba. The famous temple here is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The place
is famouse for the Aranmula Vallamkalli (Boat Race). The another main attraction
is Aranmula Mirror. Aranmula Mirrior carved and polished out of a special metal
is unique and world famous. [ 10 km Chenganoor ]
2. Cherukolpuzha : Cherukolpuzha Hindu convention, an annual religious meet
on the river bed at Cherukolpuzha, Ayroor. [ 4 km from kozhenchery.]
3. Shabarimala : The sacred abode of Lord Ayyappa. It is one of the most
important Hindu pilgrim centers in the country and the world famous pilgrim
center for all people of the world. The Holy Shrine is located amidst dense
forest in the rugged terrains of Western ghats, in habited by various wild life

4. Erumeli : Is a famous camping center of Shabarimala devotees and a
symbolic place of legends of Hindu - Muslim unity. The pilgrims to Shabarimala
meet at Erumeli and use it as a base camp before starting trekking.
5. Pandalam : Pandalam is historically important as the legend is that
Shabarimala Ayyappan had his childhood connections with the Pandalam
Royal-family.
6. kaviyoor : On the banks of the river Manimala. On the top of a hill, is a
Hanuman Temple In the typical kerala style with a rock cut temple in the Pallava
style nearby.
7. Kozhenchery : Maramon Christian Convention on the river sand bed of Pamba
River under the auspices of the Marthoma Church in February every year is world
famous.
8. konni : A hill town, Konni is famous for timber trade and wild elephant
training centre. [11 km from Pathanamthitta ]
9. Mannadi : The ancient Bhagavathy Temple here houses of Kerala Institute of
folk lore and folk arts which has a Museum of tapes and library. [13 km from
Adoor ]
10. Niranam : Niranam is famous on account of St. Mary's Orthodox Old
Christian Chruch, belived to have been founded by Apostle St. Thomas in 52 A.D.

13. Peruthenaruvi : water falls in the river pamba about 30 km from
Pathanamthitta. It is beautiful picinic spot.
